Swan Lake Trip
Peacock Theatre, Holborn, London
On Friday 10th April 2015, a group of 39 parents and students watched The English National Ballet's Swan Lake at the Peacock Theatre.
Swan Lake is a well known ballet and it was a joy to share this with ADA. Swan Lake was enjoyed by all. After the performance, we met some of the Dancers from the English National Ballet, and got their autographs in our programmes.
We then went to Lincolns Inn Field for a picnic and let the adults plan the rest of the day. We watched some Street Artists at Covent Garden, a gold man floating was our favourite! After Covent Garden some us went to the Cinderella Exhibition. We were very lucky as we visited on the last day! We got to explore some of the sets from the Cinderella film, see the Ugly sisters dresses, and learn lots about the film. The highlight of the tour was a trip through Cinderellas Golden carriage, the other side was Cinderella's dress from the ball and her glass slippers. We got to have our picture taken trying Cinderella's slipper on.
We returned to dancing around 9pm....after a very early start. All students were extremely well behaved and I think I can say on behalf of everyone that we had a great day!
Looking forward to our 2016 Trip!
